19 Months

I have to hurry up and get this done because we are oh so quickly approaching 20 months!  Whoa!  And I'm already forgetting all the things that she was doing just last month.

This girl seriously loves shoes. New ones, old ones, taking them off, putting the on.  Everything about them she loves! We are in trouble.

Say cheese!

Checking out all the pretty flowers

Too cool

This was while we were waiting at her 18 month dr's appt.  She had no idea what was coming!

She did not like her shots (who does?!) but the nurse quickly distracted her with this blown up glove.  We LOVE our pediatrician office!  They are fabulous which makes my life so much easier!

Oh yeah.

New bath toys!

"Coloring"
I gave Elizabeth this notebook and crayons thinking that she might color but instead she discovered that the crayons fit perfectly in the holes of the notebook paper and sat there twisting the crayons in the holes instead.  Engineer brain, maybe??

This is her I didn't get what I wanted face.  I didn't want you to think she was perfect all the time :)

But she is a happy girl most of the time!

And likes sunglasses (can you tell?!)

She has the sweetest little personality, she loves to sing songs, dance, play outside, read books, and watch her "mov mov's (movies).  She is saying lots of words, identifying body parts, animals and funny animal sounds.  She is so smart!  It is really hard to keep up with all the changes...she changes and learns something new every single day.  It's amazing!  I have a feeling that she will never cease to amaze me!

Annual Salyer October Trip

After a week in Virginia, Mom and Dad flew back with Elizabeth and I.  We were warmly welcomed back to the state of Colorado.  Nothing like a snow storm the first week in October!

Luckily it warmed up and we could get out for some shopping!  Mom and Dad got us this awesome couch!  We love it and it is perfect in the condo...I guess they didn't want to spend a week sitting on the floor :)

We did lots of walking and playing outside

Grampy taught Elizabeth how to trace her hand

Stopping to smell the flowers

And turtle kissing :)

Beautiful day!

Then we went to music class...hooray!

Sharing her intruments

Snuggled up for a lullaby

Fall Photos

And then this happened...

Mom and Dad got to experience Elizabeth's first dip in the snow of this year.  Too bad it was during their "fall" trip!  It snowed the day they got here and the day they left but luckily it was nice in between!

And We're Back!!

Mom and Dad came to the rescue and sent us their old tablet computer! They needed to clear out space and we needed the computer so it was a win, win, win!  So now to play blogging catch up...

Elizabeth and I made a trip to Virginia the last week of September.  We stayed at Mom and Dad's house in Bristol and got to do lots and lots of visiting with friends and family.  Which we LOVE!

Mom got Elizabeth this horse which of course was a big hit!

Another big hit, Mimi's Bread. If you haven't experienced this then you are missing out!  Our Mimi makes the best homemade sourdough bread and Elizabeth had her first Mimi Bread experience this trip and she ate 3 slices at once!  This girl knows what's good!

It just also happened to be the weekend of Rhythm and Roots, a big music festival in downtown Bristol.  It was so much fun!

Elizabeth showing off her dance moves.

Bubbles!

Helping in the kitchen.

Getting in the Bluegrass spirit!

More R&R with Grammy and Granpa

Being silly.

Visiting Uncle Dave and Aunt Kathy's House

They have the best toys!

Playing ball.

We went with Mamaw to Cumberland Square Park to find Papaw's marker at the war memorial.

Elizabeth is standing on it in this picture, Howard J Salyer.  My other grandpa and 3 great uncles all have markers at this memorial park as well.  Pretty special for some pretty special people!
