23 Months!

We are having so much fun!  Elizabeth is busy and active and needs almost constant entertainment BUT...that means we keep busy and active and having fun!

She loves painting.  We always take her shirt off to keep it clean but now anytime she wants to paint she pulls her shirt up and says paint. Oops.

Her bathroom has become a bubble blowing location. We hadn't blown bubbles since the summer so she was realllly excited!

A brief break in the action...

We've also been going to gymnastics.  Where she can run and jump and twist and twirl (and save my furniture!).  She LOVES it!

Look at that toe point. She's a natural! :)

There's also lots of play dates!  The kiddos are just getting to the point where they can play on their own more and really with each other...and less with the mommies.  Which is SO SO nice!

It's been snowing and snowing and snowing...which is typical but still exhausting!  Anyways, we are just trying to make the best of it!

This is how we kept the girls entertained during the SuperBowl...watching movies...on a portable DVD player...in the next room! Ah...so nice!

And the usual trips to the library.  Elizabeth really wanted the gorilla to play the computer with her.  By the way...she drug the gorilla over to the computers, plopped him up in the chair, put the headphones on and was using his had to push the buttons.  It was so cute!

Way Behind is an Understatment

It's been a busy couple of months and time just keeps moving and babies just keep growing.  Elizabeth has changed so much the last couple of months. Can you tell?

She's gone from saying a few words here and there to talking a lot, constantly.
She knows all of her body parts and animal noises.
She loves singing and following along to songs and motions.
She reads books, she remembers the words, she kisses the characters, shares her snacks/paci/lovie with them, and tells them all night night.
She counts...if two, free, four, six, nine, ten...counts.
She pretends and uses her imagination when she plays.
She loves her mommy and daddy and Boone.
And boy to they love her!

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve this year having some fun with friends.  We packed up the kiddos and headed to a place called Saddleback Ranch for some snow tubing!

All geared up!

So you picked up your tube at the bottom of the "hill" and rode this lift to the top.  These are my feet looking back towards the bottom.

Then once you got to the top you took a deep breath, held on for dear life and screamed your head off, if your me...if you're Elizabeth you just sit there cool as a cucumber. (You might want to turn your volume down, first!)

And at the bottom you strike a cool pose!

Then we enjoyed Christmas Eve Dinner with some other friends...also fun...not nearly as heart pumping as our morning, though.

But still pretty good for our hearts!
