Celebrate

And how else would we celebrate a half birthday...with a photo shoot, of course!

6 Months!!

6 Month Stats:
Weight - 13lbs. 10oz.
Length - 26 inches
Head Circumference - 16.8 inches

There is lots of laughing, playing, singing, dancing, eating, sleeping, walking and discovering going on at our house these days.  Elizabeth is so much fun to be with all day!  It is so fun to watch her grow and learn...it is literally happening right before my eyes everyday.

This month she grabs her toys, rolls over constantly (only from her back to her belly still, she still gets really mad after awhile on her belly but hasn't figured out how to get back), eats and enjoys rice cereal with apple or prune juice, loves walks in her Baby Bjorn and has discovered her hands.  She LOVES her hands!  She stares and them, opens and closes her fingers, and turns them front to back...she is fascinated with them and they can keep her entertained for long periods of time.

Happy Half Birthday, EP!

Sprout

Elizabeth sprouted her first tooth on Tuesday!  There has been lots of chewing, rubbing and slobbering happening at our house over the last several days.  She has handled it really well...I didn't even realize she was getting a tooth until I stuck my finger in there Monday night and it was right under the surface...who knew?! Ha!

I tried to get a picture of the little tooth but was unsucessful...I did however get some very funny pictures in my attempt!  Oh well.  I promise to keep trying!

Labor Day

Will had to work today so Elizabeth and I went to Oak Creek for their Labor Day festivities.  We enjoyed the fresh air and great people watching.

Happy Labor Day!!

Music Together

Elizabeth and I went to a music class for babies last week.  I was pretty skeptical and only went because it was free but Elizabeth LOVED it!  I could only quickly snap a couple of pictures but I wish you all could have seen her.  She had the best time...smiling, laughing and "singing" at the top of her lungs.  She loved the music, the "instruments" but she especially loved the other babies!

The instructor suggested that we lay the babies facing us just until they were comfortable enough to face out and Elizabeth immediately craned her neck, rolled over and never looked back :)  And...thanks to Grammy and Grampa we get to go back every week until Thanksgiving!!

Music Together here we come!

Oh!  And the second best part....this was Elizabeth before we even got out of the parking lot!  All that fun wore her out!
