Whoa Snow!!

So most people in Steamboat have been complaining about the lack of snow this winter (I wasn't one of them) but I think we are making up for it now! Since Sunday it has:

1. A record was set of 27 inches of snow on the mountain in 24 hours.

2. Now snowed approximately 5 feet on the mountain.

3. Expected to snow 12-18 more inches by noon tomorrow.

We tried to snap some pictures this weekend and tonight...they of course don't do it justice but believe me when I say...THERE IS A TON OF SNOW!

Fine Dining!

So you "city folk" will not understand this but I LOVE LOVE LOVE Chic-fil-a and I have been horribly deprived of it for the last 2 years. I only get it when we head back east to visit and I seriously eat it as many times as I can in every trip. It is completely ridiculous...I am fully aware of that but I just. can't. help. myself! So it is NOT a pregnancy craving it is an everyday regular ole Emily craving.

Will being the sweet husband that he is, not only is aware of this obsession of mine but he probably runs a close second AND you are never going to believe this but he had to go to Denver on Thursday for work and made an extra special trip to Chic-fil-a and surprised me when he got home. I was one happy girl!!

And just wait...it gets better. Our awesome neighbors who live in Fort Collins full time and only come up occasionally to visit had some vacation renters in their house last week that Will helped change the battery in their smoke detector. As a thank you last night when they got here they brought us Chic-fil-a and a jug of sweet tea!!! Can you believe it?!? What are the odds that I would get to eat my all time favorite TWO. NIGHTS. IN. A. ROW?? Clearly I don't keep my obsession a secret. Shameless. I LOVE YOU CHIC-FIL-A!!

Feeling the Love

Will surprised me with a yummy Valentines dinner at home and a dozen roses...it was so sweet and I was definitely surprised. We had delicious steaks and salad.

Telluride, Colorado

Will and I snuck away last weekend for a little babymoon. We had a great time and Telluride was absolutely beautiful!! Will is ready to pack up and move :)
