Technical Difficulties

I had no intention for your sneak peek tease to last quite this long...sorry people! My new fancy camera is smarter than me and I can't make the file sizes smaller so they will upload to my blog. I tried for hours yesterday HOURS and then lost patience. So have no fear I am working on it...I will happily accept any technological words of wisdom!

Elizabeth enjoyed her first trip to the hair salon...but we decided we should probably wait on the hair cutting and eyebrow waxing for her :)

Two Month Doctor Visit

My sweet little lamb had her 2 month doctor visit today.  It was both good and bad...Elizabeth is doing wonderful and both the nurse and doctor said separately that she no longer looks like a preemie :)  But...she also had to get her first round of vaccinations.  I know they are necessary but they were certainly no fun for anyone...I think Will shed the most tears...not really but I am so thankful he was there!  He held Elizabeth while I looked away.  The tough cookie stopped crying before we even left the doctor's office and has been asleep ever since.

Big Brother Boone

Boone has really been trying my patience since Elizabeth has been born.  I love him but he isn't my first priority anymore and both of us are trying to learn patience with each other.  But he has been wonderful with Elizabeth and I am more than thankful for that and luckily she is a heavy sleeper and can sleep through most of his barking...lucky for him.  I guess we'll keep him...



Spring Has Sprung...Finally!

I know most of you have been enjoying spring time for weeks now but as you know we are a little bit behind out here.  Even though, we had a mild winter I have still been anxiously awaiting warm weather, sunny days and most of all the arrival of my tulips!  And they have finally arrived!!  It was backbreaking work for a pregnant lady but I am finally starting to be able to reap the rewards (although I seem to remember planting more!).  Oh well, here they come!

Month Two

We celebrated Elizabeth's two month birthday on Sunday with a party, singing, and cake...not really...just the singing...but cake would have been yummy! :) 

The little girl is growing so fast.  Some days I think, I can't wait until she can _____, fill in the blank, and other days I tell her to slow it down.  
She has been smiling a lot more this month and I am more in love with it every time I see it!

She has started wearing some of her 0-3 month size clothes...

We are still working on tummy time and strengthening those neck muscles (that head is heavy with such a big brain in there!)

And this girl still loves her sleep (thank goodness!).  She is sleeping about 5-7 hours every night and it is wonderful for everyone!

Grandpa Comes to Visit!!

My dad came to visit us for a couple of days last week and we were so excited to have him!  It was the first time he met Elizabeth so it was a pretty special trip.  He got to do some fishing with Will, a BUNCH of little projects for me, but most importantly lots of snuggle time with Elizabeth!!

Thanks for all your help, Dad!  We will let you come visit us anytime!!
