Poochie Paddle
We went to another exciting event last weekend...The Poochie Paddle...that's right, a Poochie Paddle. Every year just before they close the downtown public pool for cleaning, they open it up to all the doggies for a day of swimming. It was mass chaos! But most dogs were in heaven, swimming, fetching tennis balls, playing with other dogs...but not Boone. He HATED it! He is definitely not a swimmer...he was dying to chase the balls and play with the other dogs, he was literally foaming at the mouth, but he would NOT get in the water. Will even threw him in twice and he swam straight back to the edge frantic to get out with fear in his eyes. Poor thing but it was hysterical. Needless to say our Poochie Paddle experience was a quick one but it was also very amusing.
First Family Picnic
It was beautiful last weekend so Will and I decided to go for a little family picnic. We loaded up Boone, Elizabeth and our peanut butter and jellies and headed over to the park. The park is about 5 minutes from our house and the water is the Stagecoach Lake that you can see right out our backdoor. It was a beautiful spot for a picnic and we are so lucky to have it so close! It was a great first family picnic!

Month One
Can you believe this sweet little girl has been with us for one month already?? We sure can't! She is growing and changing everyday right before our eyes...it's pretty amazing. It has been a month of lots of "firsts"...for Will and I but especially for Elizabeth. Here is just a couple of them...
First dress :) Thanks Aunt Laura!
Tummy Time! She has to practice laying on her belly so she can get strong neck muscles and hold her head up. She can already turn her head from one side to the other! She will also turn her head to the sound of our voices...did I mention amazing?!

Sweet Cheeks
Elizabeth is showing off her beautiful OXYGEN FREE cheeks! That's right...we went to the doctor today for her 4 week check (today was also her actual due date!) and they told us that Elizabeth was doing great and no longer needed her oxygen...FREEDOM!
We also found out at the doctor that Elizabeth is up to a whopping 7lbs 9oz! That's 2lbs up from her birth weight...we have a little piglet on our hands! Today was a great day for us!
