Dream a little Dream

So they tell me that strange and vivid dreams are all just part of pregnancy (I'm just learning as I go!). Well, I've never been much of a "dreamer" and if I do I guess I just never seem to remember them. That being said, I also haven't been sleeping well (also a part of pregnancy?) BUT on Monday night I had a wonderful nights sleep and even had a dream! It was a pretty vivid delivery/birth dream of which I will spare you the details except for this one...

I vividly recall giving birth to a red-headed Cabbage Patch Doll...yes, that's right, a RED-HEADED CABBAGE PATCH DOLL. Wow! And for those of you who might not be able to come up with a mental image on your own I have provided a picture.


Isn't she beautiful?? What beautiful blue eyes, dimples and bright orange hair...the face only a mother could love? Maybe? You guys would still love her, right?!

Girls Weekend

I was lucky enough to get to spend some quality time with some of my favorite girlfriends while I was back home. We rented the cutest little cabin in Asheville, NC and didn't leave the entire weekend. We talked, laughed, ATE, played games, hit the hot tub and laughed some more. It was a much needed wonderful weekend.

We made a new friend...this is Harvey Muffin (we named him!) and he loved goldfish!

The baby butt cake...it was delicious...and I only felt slightly bad about slicing into her :)

There were presents for me AND presents for them!

I'm already looking forward to the next trip...and next time there will be one more girl added to the party <3

Bristol Baby Shower

My beautiful Momma Jeanne and her beautiful daughters Stevie and Callie (she couldn't come) threw me the cutest baby shower! It was so much fun and the food and decorations were adorable! See for yourself....

The sign says "Things that Pop" and the table included Blow Pops, Rice Krispie Treats, popcorn, Ring Pops, bubble gum, balloons and a picture of me! HA! Cute, right?

My dear friends Buz and Jan Booker came all the way down from Pulaski to celebrate with me! It was so wonderful to see them (I hadn't since the wedding!) and so sweet of them to come.

And lots of family...

Look at this beautiful blanket my aunt Kathy made for us! It is so sweet and soft...I'm sure it will be one of our favorites!

We got lots of cute gifts and TONS of gift cards! Who knew such a tiny little thing could "need" so much stuff?!?

And best of all was the chance for 4 generations of Owens women to be together! Thanks everyone!!
