Elizabeth Goes to the Dentist

Warning this posted will be full of proud mommy blubbering and bragging!

I took Elizabeth to the dentist for the first time today and I couldn't have been MORE proud of her! I wasn't sure what to expect but I was talking it up all morning and she seemed excited so I was just going to hope for the best!

She played while we waited and this nice guy came out to get her. She jumped right up when he said her name and he sat with her and told her what was about to happen. She listened and talked and talked and talked and then she went right back with him. I honestly think I could have just stayed in the waiting room and she wouldn't have missed me! But then, how would I have taken all these pictures?! :)

She sweetly followed all of his directions.

There were other kids in there screaming and sobbing and I thought oh no! But not only was she unphased by it...she was trying to comfort them! My heart could have exploded!

Then it was her turn and she was a total rockstar!  They did a full cleaning on her and again she just sat still and followed all the instructions despite the noises, tickling, and a mouth full of stuff! I. Couldn't. Believe. It!

And all done! Clean, beautiful and healthy teeth for my brave big girl!

She picked heart stickers because she said it was love day. I mean, what was she trying to do to me?! Sweetness overload!

Then she requested pizza for lunch. And don't tell her, but I'm pretty sure I would have given her anything she wanted at that point I was so proud!

And I let her eat this ENTIRE push up. Did I mention I would have given her anything?!

Ok. A little bit more...they said she was the only kid who had not cried in their office today.  They also bragged on how confident and sure of herself she was! And she really was! Who knew a trip to the dentist could make me so emotional?! I'm blaming the hormones but man, am I proud of my girl (have I said that yet??)!

Bristol Week

Elizabeth and I headed to Bristol to spend time with everyone because I am officially stuck in Georgia until this baby comes.  Mom had a shower planned for me and my grandpa was a little under the weather so it worked out to be a perfectly good time to go!

We had an ice cream date with Gammy and Aunt Katie.

She said she was a pirate...argh!

While Katie and I did some shopping, Gammy and Elizabeth did some street performing :). There was really just music playing outside of one of the stores and E just can't help herself.  Her dancing did draw an audience from time to time!

Look at that bed head!  Will will ask her if she slept with a mouse in her hair and she'll say, Minnie Mouse?? :)

It was warm enough to spend some time outside!

She said she was going to drive home.  Shortly after this picture she closed the door and locked me out!  Luckily I had the keys!!  I'm in trouble!

Celebrated the third trimester...

Comparing...

Competing...

Playing in the sandbox Papaw made for her!

We checked out the nature center at a local park.

She liked the magnifying glass :)

We were unfortunately stuck leaving Target in a rain storm.  This was the best we could do.  Good thing I bought that shirt!

And then there was snow! This Colorado kid was so excited to see her long lost snow...even if it was VERY short lived!

She wanted a picnic :)

We killed an entire morning at Bass Pro Shop!  Talk about cheap entertainment!

She said "lambie" wanted to watch the fish too. So sweet!

And that Daddy needs to get her one of these ;-)

Our Pop had surgery and was in the hospital while we were at home. I was finally able to visit him the last day. Elizabeth worked hard on making this card and some cookies to take to him.

See you in the Spring, Bristol...with two babies in tow!!
