Feeling Festive

We're getting in the Christmas spirit around here this week.  Every year we go cut down our own tree but this year we had to make an exception.  Due to freezing cold temperatures, busy schedules, and sick people we had to buy our Christmas tree from Walmart this year (shhh!)  But I have to tell ya...this tree looks way better than any tree we've ever cut from the forest!

Christmas Tree Lighting

Will, Elizabeth and I bundled up and headed downtown to get in the Christmas spirit.  We went for the Christmas tree lighting, some Christmas carols, hot chocolate, and some fun!

Turkey Day

We had an impromptu Thanksgiving celebration with some friends this year.  We ran into them the night before and neither of us had plans so we threw it all together in less than 24 hours!  And I'm so glad we did!!

Will made the turkey, and despite my concerns...I have to admit it was actually delicious!  Will has turkey duty every year!
