Tree Huggers

When the weather is horrible what should ya do?...Why plant trees of course! Right?

Well, anyways, that is what Will and I did this weekend. We made the trek down to Home Depot, purchased us some beautiful trees, came home and planted them. And....WE GOT MAPLES! I'm sure there is something in the rules of our neighborhood that says "please do not plant potential 40 ft trees" but we are just going to play dumb...I think we can pull that off, don't you?

Colorado River Rafting

We took a big group of kids and adults river rafting on Sunday for work. We had tons of fun eventhough the water was freeeezing! A brisk 48 degrees to be exact...some of the kids (and adults) willingly jumped in and rode the rapids. No thank you! We got tons of great pictures and I just wanted to share a few. Did I mention I get paid for this!? :)

Nothing Says Love Like a....5K??

Will and I ran a 5k today...go us! It wasn't easy, can you say altitude...mountains...but Will was a great encourager and we managed to run our first race together. My friend Lindsay ran the 10K...she got 4th place for the women and finished in under and hour...go Linds!

Our times...they are the same because we ran the entire thing together <3

New Camera

Will and I got a new camera a couple of weeks ago...isn't she pretty? If I'm gonna be a fabulous blogger...I have to have a fancy camera :)

Patio Here We Come!

We are trying to get our house ready for summer (it will be here eventually). Were working on a sidewalk, flowerbeds, a flagstone patio and stairs...shew! Our first accomplishment is the stone flowerbeds...go us! They are on both sides of our house and are anxiously awaiting lots of pretty flowers :)

Warm Welcome Home

After we spent a wonderful week in the beautiful sunshine and warmth.....THIS is what we came home to. UGH!

All the ice/snow/slush built up on my car antenna.

It snowed the entire week after we got back but, keep your fingers crossed because they are calling for 60's and sun this weekend...FINALLY. I will keep you posted :)
